Excess energy can be created in your body by upcoming events, important things that are happening in your life or through thoughts that go round and round in our minds. The energy created by this stress flows through our bodies and adds to anxiety, nervousness and tension, which can also create depression and pain in the body.
A good way to release this excess energy is to simply drain it out of your body, like pulling the plug from a bath and seeing the water drain out.
The excess energy created, disrupts the normal state of balance in our bodies. By draining the excess energy from your body it doesn’t take away from your own energy but restores balance to your body by releasing the distributive energy.
A great time to use this is when you have an important interview or upcoming event, taking an important exam or meeting with people for the first time, where you feel a bit nervous, or if you are feeling dumped on, angry or irritated, or even if you have had an argument. The great thing about this exercise is that it can be done at anytime, anywhere unnoticeably.
