An Opportunity to upgrade our patterns

Ever wondered why when its full moon you seem to go through a stage where things get brought to the surface. Your buttons are pushed more easily, you may seem more grumpy than usual, things that don't usually irritate you seem to drive you crazy and you don't sleep as well as you usually do. Scientifically there is no conclusive evidence about the relationship between the moon and heightened emotions but in my experience, when its full moon I seem to have more clients that contact me asking for assistance. A small explanation could be that because our bodies are made up of 60% water and our thoughts program our emotions, which are held in our bodies, just like the tides our bodies are influenced by the pull of the moon.  Issues that we can usually put to the back of our minds can sometimes be stronger at full moon and whether this is true or not, it does give us a great opportunity to work though them and upgrade our patterns. Wouldn't it be nice is one of those buttons wasn't there anymore.
So how do you disable a button?
Its much easier to notice what your button is when you are feeling stronger emotion around it, so when you have a strong emotion about it, the first step is being aware, paying attention and noticing it.
Once you can pin point what exactly it is then you can start to work with it. A powerful exercise, is when the button is pushed, identify the emotion you feel and bring it to the fore front. Don't try to push it away, let it be with you, give it your attention and acknowledge it.
Feel it, How does it make you feel? where in your body is it sitting? what shape is it? does it have a colour or a texture? does it have a smell or a taste associated with it or one that comes to mind? Now that you have a solid image of it,
Imagine gently taking it out of your body and disposing of it, in whichever way feels comfortable to you. Think outside the rational box with this and get creative with your imagination. Usually you will find a idea comes clearly to mind, go with it.
Once the "thing" is gone, notice how having it gone feels... put some words to what you now feel.
Allow that feeling to move clearly into your mind and then in the place of where that "thing" was put that new feeling in and seal it with a beautiful light, whichever colour of light you would like to use that feels positive and right.
If you have a flashback of the emotion, just repeat those words to yourself and replace it with that feeling you felt when it left. In no time you will notice that that initial issue will disappear.

RECAP:
1. Get clear on what the emotion is that you are feeling.
2. Close your eyes and feel it in your body, where does it sit?
3. Acknowledge it.
4. Give it a shape, colour, texture, smell and shape.
5. Release it.
6. Notice how it feels not to have it with you, how do you feel?
7. Fill the empty space with the new updated emotion.
8. If you have a flashback, simply replace it with the new emotion.

Sp4: Is located on the arch of the foot, one finger-width below the ball of the foot.
Effect: Regulates the stomach. Relieves reproductive imbalances and bloating. Supports emotional stability.
GB41: Is located on the top of the foot, in between the webbing of the 4th and 5th toe.
Effect: Alleviates pain and headaches. Soothes irritability and balances attitude problems.
St36: Is located to the outside of the leg, 4 finger-widths below the bottom of the kneecap.
Effect: Reduces dizziness, fatigue, digestive imbalances, food cravings, mood swings and worry.
CV6: Is located 2 finger-widths below the belly button.
Effect: Revives the bodies healing processes. Restores vitality, strengthens the waterways and reproductive system. Relieves urinary incontinence.
GV4: is located on the back between the two vertebrae in line with the navel.
Effect: Relieves dizziness, urinary incontinence. Calms the spirit.
GV2.5: Is located between the eyebrows, in the indentation where the bridge meets the forehead.
Effect: Clears heat. Relieves hot flushes and dizziness. Calms the spirit and relieves anxiety.
CV17: Is located on the center of the breastbone in an indentation, 4 finger-widths up from the base of the breastbone.
Effect: Calms and relaxes the body, nourishes the heart and balances the emotions.

Letting things be easy

When you are feeling overwhelmed and trapped by fear, worry and insecurity how do you get yourself out of it and let things be easy.

Emotion follows thought, so when you think a thought you have an emotional reaction to it. The more you focus on it the more energy you create around it.
If you are having a negative thought, you may like to break the cycle by stopping the energy you are feeding it.
When you stop thinking about the very thing that is worrying you and change your focus to something that feels more pleasant, you begin to raise your vibration and therefore your point of attraction.

If you focus your thoughts on something that feels good to you for 17 seconds, another more positive thought will follow it.

So change your focus by:
*listing a few things that have been going well for you.
*Listing a few things that are working out for you.
*Remembering times when things worked out perfectly for you.
*Look for opportunities to feel good.

A little on the Root Chakra

Our Root Chakras is responsible for our sense of survival and grounding. A balanced and open Root Chakra gives us a sense of stillness, security and safety.
The Root Chakra relates to the element of earth and is the foundation of our energy system and the building block on which all the other Chakras rest and so making sure that the Root Chakra is open and balanced is important. It’s the foundation our survival, our health, our material and monetary existence and the basis of our ability to focus and manifest.
The Root Chakra is located in the pubic area and feeds the sciatic nerve that travels down through the legs which is the largest peripheral nerve in the body. Some signs that may indicate you need to open you Root Chakra are
  • lower back issues
  • Fear of change
  • Rectal and bowel disorders
  • Immune related illnesses
  • Sluggishness
  • Issues with legs, feet, knees
  • Restless
  • Anxious
  • Eating disorders and frequent illness
  • Financial difficulties
  • Poor boundaries
Here are a few easy things you can do to open and balance your Root Chakra and remember the more frequently you do them better.
  • Stamping your feet: This opens and balances the Root Chakra and the foot Chakras that are located on the base of each foot. It’s an excellent exercise to do when you get out of bed in the morning.
    Either stamp alternative feet or one foot and then the other.
  • Jumping up and down: This opens and balances the Root Chakra, energizing the legs.
  • Jogging: Opens and balances the Root Chakra and energizes the feet, legs and torso, this also helps increase the metabolism and increases the breathing rate, helping with anxiety.
